Also, it may jut be in your genetics, some people can grow it and some can't, mine personally does flip out at the sides, but I have a big cowlick at the front that makes it look awkward. So, yea, it's mostly genetics.

Don't be disappointed if it doesn't work out for you, a lot of girls hate guys with the flippy hairstyle and prefer short hair.

I just had my hair cut kind of short, meaning between the earlobe and jawbone. What are some cool ways to style it? I've always had long hair so I'm a bit lost here. For a male, cornrows are probably best. They give your hair a chance to rest specifically the ends. Your hair grows at about 1/2 inch a month. What makes it seem like it doesn't grow is the breakage.

You should also wash your hair often at least once a week, you can put a stocking cap over your head to keep your braids from getting too frizzy, and be certain to keep your hair moisturized. That does not mean put grease on your scalp but it does mean use a moisturizing conditioner when you wash (DO NOT skip this step).

Depends what you want. If you rhair is long, you'll need a super strong curling iron, like a hot tools, which you can find for about 30-40 dollars at your local salon supply shop

Then, when your hair is dry, apply a lot of mousse to it, so that your hair is damp, then blowdry so that the mousse is dry, and brush. Then curl your hair with the curling iron sot hat no more than two layers of hair is covering the curling iron

Hold the curling iron in until the outside layer of hair is warm, then release. If your hair is so long that the barrell isnt long enough, and it only curled the ends, do the same with the top part. Just wrap the exsisiting straight part of the hair, and curl upwards, avoiding the already curled hair. and in about an hour, you should be done!

hey.. i have really long hair too. Is yours straight and easy to manage? If it is then i reccommend buying a few hair clips.. not to do anything complicated with, but a few small ones can scoop it out of your face slightly and give it more of a natural curve at the top of the length of hair.

One of my favourite things to do is to pull hair from the front (near the forehead) backwards and secure with a pretty (larger) hair slide, grip or clip. This can look mumsey but if your hair is long and straight or wavy it can look chic and more interesting than just leaving it hang. A pretty, glittery clip at the back is a good idea.. not just a boring standard brown or black one.

Oh and I also am a fan of sidepartings.. they complement long hair well.

I am a professional hairstylist and i recommend you don't change the color. Black is very hard to lift. It wants to go gold or red. You need to go to a salon to do it so once they lift the color with bleach they can redeposit an ashy color on it so it will look good. It never looks natural though. I dye my hair black and i also have experimented with a few highlights to lighten it up and i always go back to black. It just is hard to match anything with it as the contrast is so much. tan skin nd black hair is very attractive and exotic looking. maybe change the cut but keep your color the way it is.

Perm it. After perming it pull it up into a curly mess ontop of your head. It looks fabulous! You can also put some of those little, tiny clip things in your hair. I have these little tiny purple stars. Maybe you could find some like that that are sparkly.

I don't know any sites, but here are styles that I do, my hair is a little past shoulder length:

pony tail

or take a pony tail keep it loose then take your hair

%26amp; loop it through the middle of the pony tail %26amp; pull the pony tail tighter so it stays in place

take a hair clip ,twist your hair going upwards then place the hair clip towards the top of the twist

%26amp; it looks like you have a loose pony tail

french braid

messy pony tail

or curl your hair w/ hot rollers

Ok, so I am considering cutting my hair. It is long (close to my elbows) I am kinda bored with but afraid that if i cut it I will miss it being long. If i did cut it i think i would go to about shoulder length. My hair is medium blonde with some layers right now and i have swept across bangs. Your hair is not what makes you special. Your personality is what makes you special. Any way i think that if you cut it you should keep the bangs but maybe just cut your just below your shoulders, or get it cut into a bob. whatever you make sure your absolutely positive about doing it before you do. also donate it if you do so that even if you don't like the cut at least your hair contributed to a good cause. Just remember its only hair and it grows back

If you do it a little at a time, then it's less likely that you'll miss your long hair. I didn't regret it at the time, but then I got bored with the short hair since it took some time to style. So I dyed it. That was a few years ago and now I'm in the middle. I have long hair again and it's dyed. Anyway, my advice is that if you cut it to shoulder length, keep it all one length until you get used to it. Then if you decide to add layers or whatever, it won't be as big a shock! (It's shocking, especially the first time you wash it!)

Well without seeing what I'm looking at...start by pushing the bangs over to which ever side you prefer. Then as it gets longer on the neckline you need to as your stylist to trim the back until the rest of your hair starts to line up with the neckline. At that point you can begin to think of a skater style that you want. It will take you about 6 months to acheive your goal depending on the length you want and style. Whatever you do DONT GO TO PROCUTS!!! ;) Good luck!!!
