I have long straight hair wich can make it hard to have a firm hair style. Do y'all have any simple hair styles that will work with my hair but will stay but when I am running or things like that?

Long straight hair. You're speaking my language! Let it grow out to the point you would want the shortest layer if it isn't that long now and then go in to have it shaped. Your hairstylist can give you layers that will help your hair hold its shape when curled or styled. That way you should just be able to blow dry it and style with a large barreled curling iron with minimal effort. Then you won't have to put so much spray and styling gel in only to see the style fall out (I can't tell you how many times I did that).
